Susan is a leader in the legal search industry. Working in legal recruitment for over 20 years, Susan brings her extensive expertise and industry knowledge to each of her clients. She supports a broad range of companies (publicly traded, private, and not-for-profit) and major law firms and boutiques in their search for esteemed legal talent. With a proven track record of finding the right legal talent for the unique needs of her clients, her successful recruiting strategies, strong network, and superior client service are the hallmarks of her success. Her reputation of professionalism amongst her clients and candidates is well-known.

Susan has worked on hundreds of mandates for both companies and law firms. She has successfully placed legal professionals in roles for General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Compliance. In private practice, she has a strong track record in placing Partners and Associates with leading law firms and has experience in moving legal teams.

Susan practiced Commercial Litigation at both a reputable national law firm and a litigation boutique. Following her legal career, Susan worked for a major legal recruitment firm for over 13 years and was then with a search boutique for eight years.

Susan obtained her LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School and earned her B.A. (Hons.) from York University.

Louise has earned a solid reputation in the legal search industry, attained through her engaging approach and focus on long-term solutions.

For close to 20 years, Louise has been effectively matching candidates with the right environment for their future success. She has worked with all levels of candidates, from associates to senior partners (including teams), actively listening to fully understand their experience and goals. It’s all about the fit.

Prior to recruiting, Louise articled with McCarthy Tétrault and practiced in a boutique firm, specializing in securities.

Louise has gained a broad and varied perspective working in house, primarily in financial services specializing in secured and unsecured lending and insolvency related restructurings. This first-hand experience and understanding of varied operational styles helps her provide informed advice to lawyers of all levels.

Louise recently completed a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion at Cornell University.

Louise obtained her LL.B from Queen's University Law School.
